This weekend we went to Rocky Point (Puerto Penasco) in Mexico. Also referred to as "Arizona's Beach". It is located at the North part of the Sea of Cortes and it is a good four hour drive from Phoenix. The beach is not comparable with the beaches in Brazil or with other beaches in Mexico (like Cancun etc). Visually, it reminded my of Dubai (but then not so rich...) or Egypt. A lot of sand, many fat and drunken arizonians and a lot of tacos and burritos. Anyway, we did have fun, did some sunbathing, swum in the sea, did a little evening cruise, and ate a lot of tacos.
