New Hampshire & Maine (Labor Day Holiday September 2008)

In early September (Labor day weekend) we took a two day trip up north to visit the states of New Hampshire and Maine. The first day we drove up to Lincoln, New Hampshire over the I-93. Then we took a right and followed the scenic "Kancamagus Highway"; one of the most picturesk drives in the USA. It is more beautiful when the foilage starts becoming yellow and red, but as it was we enjoyed it already. We stayed the night in the Swiss Chalets in a beautiful little town "North Conway", where they had this nice train station that you'll see on the photos. Ah, I forgot to tell....Tytwo went with us, but he is not really much of a car lover. He caused a lot of stress....The second day we drove back via Portland, Maine. Initially we had planned to take Route 1 close to the coast, but as Tytwo was such a pain in the butt, we took the highway. Not that it did matter a lot, because the I-95 is a toll road and with labor day holiday traffic we had to wait about 30 minutes for each toll boot (and we met 2 or 3 of them along the way). Anyway, after all it was a nice trip which resulted in some nice pictures.
